Leader Pathway: Beginner Navigation session

Join us for our Beginner navigation session, ran by our wonderful Sarah Jewers, on Tuesday 8th October in the Parkinson room B.09 . This is for any of you interested in learning a few navigation tools and techniques- absolutely no experience required! 

This session will cover all things basic navigation, including:

- Map types

- Map features and symbols

- Grid references

- Contour features

- Slope profiles

- Map-to-ground bearings

The first of our Leader pathway classroom sessions, this will set you up well for the following sessions.
